Update Node Data on Grid View

Grid-Based Editing for Multiple Nodes - The OrgChartX Grid view functions like a spreadsheet, allowing you to navigate and edit node data directly within the grid.

On macOS

Edit Cells Directly

  • Click on a row to select both the row and the corresponding cell.
  • Click again on the selected cell to edit its content.
  • Utilizing keyboard shortcuts on Mac provides an efficient way to edit nodes in the Grid view.

Copy & Paste

  • Click on a row to select both the row and the corresponding cell.
  • Press ⌘c or ⌘v to copy and paste

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Press the "up" arrow key () and the "down" arrow key () to change the selected row.
  • Press the "left" arrow key () and the "right" arrow key () to change the selected cell.
  • Press the "enter" key () to start editing the selected cell.
  • Press the "escape" key () or enter key () to stop editing the selected cell.
  • Press the "delete" key () to delete the content in the selected cell.
  • Press the "command" and "c" keys (⌘c) to copy the selected cell.
  • Press the "command" and "v" keys (⌘v) to paste the copied content into the selected cell.
